Key nutrient gaps in the American diet include vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as the minerals calcium, magnesium and potassium. - Consult your doctor about starting a postnatal supplement right after your pregnancy, whether you are nursing or not. However, it is very important to continue to meet your nutrient needs while nursing your baby. The Nature Made® Postnatal + 200 mg DHA supplement supports mom and helps her have the proper nutrition complement to pass through to her growing baby.† You can continue to take Postnatal after you stop nursing your baby or switch to Nature Made® Multi for Her.
- You will not find artificial flavors in our prenatal and postnatal multivitamins. Additionally, they are gluten free.
- Consult your doctor about your supplement routine. You can continue taking the postnatal supplement since it provides all the key nutrients in our prenatal supplement, such as folic acid and iron, as well as higher amounts of some key nutrients such as vitamin D. However, if you do become pregnant, it is best to switch to our Nature Made® prenatal softgel with DHA.
